Terms of Service
Last updated 6 November 2026
These terms apply to your use of VYRS, the songwriting studio at this website ("VYRS", "the service"). VYRS is run by CloudFreaks B.V. ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Subscriptions & Cancellation, AI & Ownership and Acceptable Use & Copyright pages, which are part of these terms.
1. Who we are
CloudFreaks B.V., Willem Dreeslaan 432-B, 2729 NK Zoetermeer, the Netherlands. Email: info@cloudfreaks.nl. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 65279921, VAT NL856049384B01.
2. What VYRS does
VYRS helps you write songs. It suggests hooks and lyrics, scores and rewrites them, and can turn them into a full audio track with vocals, stems and artwork. You can also upload your own music as a starting point. VYRS uses artificial intelligence from third parties to do this (see AI & Ownership).
We keep developing VYRS. Features can change, be added or be removed. If we remove a paid feature that is central to your plan, we tell you in advance and you can cancel straight away.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use VYRS.
- Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person per account. Don't share your login or resell access.
- Tell us right away at support@vyrs.ai if you think someone else is using your account.
4. Plans and payment
VYRS has paid monthly plans. Prices, what each plan includes, renewal, cancellation and your right of withdrawal are described on Subscriptions & Cancellation. Payments are handled by Mollie B.V.
5. Your content
"Your content" is everything you put into VYRS: ideas, lyrics, notes, uploaded audio, profile text and metadata, and the songs, tracks, stems and artwork VYRS makes for you.
- You keep the rights you have in your content. We don't claim ownership of it.
- You give us a limited licence to store, process, copy and change your content, only to run VYRS for you: for example to generate lyrics and audio, make stems, show waveforms and play tracks back. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law.
- When you share a song with another VYRS user, that user can view and play it in VYRS. Stop sharing at any time.
- When you publish a song, anyone can stream that version and read its lyrics on the site (on Discover, on the song's own page and, if we pick it, on our home page), shown with your artist name, profile and cover. Listeners can't download it. For as long as the song is published, you allow us to show and stream it this way and to use it to show what VYRS can do. Take it down at any time; we then stop showing it within a day. We may take published songs down, for example after a report.
- We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.
Who owns AI-generated output, and what you may do with it, is explained on AI & Ownership.
6. Rules for using VYRS
Use VYRS lawfully and fairly. The Acceptable Use & Copyright policy lists what isn't allowed, such as uploading music you don't have the rights to, or imitating real artists. We may remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or close accounts that break them seriously or repeatedly. We tell you why, unless the law stops us.
If you are invited to a private listening session, you agree to keep the music confidential: no recording, copying or sharing, and the invitation is for you alone (see the agreement on the session page). Don't record or share workshop streams or recordings either.
7. Availability
We do our best to keep VYRS online and working, but we can't promise it is always available or free of errors. We may take it offline for maintenance, preferably at quiet times. VYRS depends on outside services (for example for AI and payments); if one of them is down, parts of VYRS may not work for a while.
Keep your own copies of tracks and lyrics you care about. Download them from your library.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or deliberate recklessness, or your rights as a consumer.
Within those limits:
- AI output can be wrong, unoriginal or unsuitable. You decide what you release, and you check it before you do.
- We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost income, lost royalties or missed releases.
- Our total liability per year is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage occurred.
9. Ending your account
You can cancel your plan at any time (see Subscriptions & Cancellation). You can delete your account yourself on your account page; this deletes all your songs, tracks and uploads straight away and cancels your plan. You can also ask support@vyrs.ai to do it. We may close your account with 30 days' notice, or straight away in case of a serious breach of these terms. If we close your account without you being at fault, we refund the unused part of your current period.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. For changes that matter to you, we email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. Small changes that don't affect your rights we may make straight away.
11. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. If we have a disagreement, let's first try to solve it together: email info@cloudfreaks.nl. If that doesn't work, the court in The Hague will decide, unless the law gives you as a consumer the right to go to the court where you live.
